Depression, fear, anxiety and panic are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and psychotherapy, we are able to explore your experiencing and to increase self-understanding. Working to adjust thinking patterns and develop coping strategies can help you to make the changes you desire.
Bereavement, Loss, Trauma & PTSD
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anger, anxiety, fear and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. Working with these emotions can help you to process events and find growth and change.
Relationships
Relationship counseling can help couples or individuals work through their relational difficulties. Couples sessions are held with both partners together, facilitating a calm environment free of arguments. You will be supported and encouraged to get to know your partner better, identifying your concerns and needs. Past hurts can be worked through in a constructive manner. Counselling can help you to communicate effectively and to strengthen your relationship. Couples counselling begins with a 1-hour informal session to enable you to explore my approach and consider if it is right for you.
